JEUDI POP (Anne Cecile Rouxel, Rinus van Alebeek, BERLIN) a combination of musique concrete and electropunkpop, Jeudi Pop brings together again the aspects of experimental music that once were united in the works of Luc Ferrari: ambiental recordings, melodies, voices and atmospheric compositions. Jeudi Pop works within the same flux: other landscapes and different sighs, but the same warmth.

BROWN VS BROWN
Brown vs Brown and Auxxx present: ‘Odds and Unevens’.
After 5 years of joint creative exploits, playing over one hundred concerts throughout Europe, Brown vs Brown has developed a musical universe that categorically defies stylistic description. Seemingly contrasting elements clash and recombine: meticulous composition vs. improvisation, complexity vs. raw energy, and neck-breaking stumble rhythms vs. irresistable swing.
Line-up:
Dirk Bruinsma : mostly alto sax
Jeroen Kimman: mostly electric guitar
Gerri Jaeger: mostly drums
Viljam Nybacka: mostly bassguitar
www.myspace.com/brownvsbrown
NEO
Manlio Maresca: guitar
Carlo Conti: tenor sax
Antonio Zitarelli: drums
www.myspace.com/neoneoband
The challenge that Neo seems to face is to attack the essence of sound, destructuring it in paradoxical and unconventional forms, among excited Balkan flavoured rhythmic spasms and a review of that New Orleans blues from the’20s.
Aardvarck
Over the years, dj Aardvarck (Mike Kivits) has built up a solid reputation of uncompromising quality and versatility in the dance scene, both underground and above. From Hip Hop,Disco,Funk,Jazz & New Wave in the early 80s upto the present ( together with Steven de Peven = RednoseDistrikt ) he's been in the avantgarde of all major dance styles.

SLOW FUTURE FESTIVAL 2009
FEBRUARY 19 and 20
AUXXX and PIERRE MANSIRE presents
SLOW FUTURE
Thursday 19th February 2009 : MS Stubnitz
Friday 20th February 2009 : Smart Project Space
Music, Dance, Visual Arts and Installations
20 February 1909, Marinetti publishes his futurist manifesto in the French newspaper Le Figaro. 100 years later, as modern and contemporary history conform in all facts and points to the Futurists visions, we see emerging a new culture and a new art all over the world, the art of the Slow Future. In 2009 Slow Future celebrates the End of the Fetishism of Speed and Futurist Inheritance, with as landmark the 19th and 20th of February.
On February 19th and 20th Auxxx and Pierre Mansire presents two evenings with international artists who have a connection to the concept of Slow Future, even though they are working in many different ways. They share certain characteristics, like an eye for organic development perhaps, or the unfolding of a sound into music, the fluid outcroppings of explosive energy, the call and response within one body and its living relationship to the surrounding architecture. We present these artists and their art as the representatives of a strong current, mostly hidden underneath our culture. A current reaching out towards our Slow Future.
