In 1988 he joined the band the First Edition, and in 1990 formed the band Altered States. He was also a member of Otomo Yoshihide's Ground Zero from 1994 to 1997. Axel Dorner is a trumpet player from Berlin, who works in the fields of composed music, improvisation and jazz. ?Axel Dorner has a panoramic perspective on the trumpet. In his hands, it can sing with all the glorious history jazz has invested in it. Or, alternatively, it can be reduced to an improvisor?s ?objet trouvé? - twisted clumb of clumber?s refuse, metal tube of given length with several holes and plugs given over to variances in hissing and whistling.? Dorner is considered as one of most important improvisation musicians in europe. He developed new playing techniques and also uses electronics in relation to his trumpet playing.

Richard Scott is an electroacoustic composer and improvisor working mostly with analogue modular synthesizers. He has been composing music for over 30 years, recently performing with artists such as Evan Parker, Jon Rose, Richard Barrett, Thomas Lehn, Twinkle³, Axel Dörner, Michael Vorfeld, Helmut Lemke, Ute Wasserman, Emilio Gordoa, Richard Scott's Lightning Ensemble and Grutronic.

Michael Vorfeld: " I started playing music when I was fourteen, after hitch-hiking to the next bigger city and buying a pair of bongos. Increasing my percussion set, I had my first groups. After school I worked in a studio for photography in Cologne. At the same time I got more and more interested in improvised and experimental music. As a member of the artist group 'Heinrich Mucken', founded in 1982, I got involved in site specific art projects. I studied art in Cologne and Visual Communication in Kassel(MA). My visual interest shifted towards the use of light in three dimensional spaces. Now I am living in Berlin, working as musician and visual artist. "

Manuela Lucia Tessi is an Amsterdam based dancer, teacher and maker. She dances and collaborates in several interdisciplinary projects in Amsterdam in which the core is the relationship between dance and live music. In all her projects music has a fundamental role, be that composed or improvised, almost always performed live. She works with dancers Katie Duck and Magpie, Sylvain Meret, Laura Moro , Leyya Tawil, Miri Lee, Katerina Dietzova, Silvia Bennett, Isabella Ruggiero and musicians Tom Myrmel, Anat Spiegel, George Cremaschi, Yedo Gibson, Alfredo Genovesi, Arvind Ganga, Jong Kag Park a.o. as well as visual artists/light designers Emese Csornai and Ellen Knops.
